Chinese Restaurant Egg Drop Soup

I'm a fan of traditional Chinese restaurant egg drop soup. Recently, I've been at restaurants that either make lousy egg drop soup or improvise in ways that aren't tasty. So, I made it myself.

Introduction

You are viewing our cookbook, which is derived from our kitchen adventures. By combining recipes we would like to use in the future here on this site, we are hoping to create a helpful resource.

The catalyst for this project was simply to reduce the number of recipes we print off and leave on top of our refrigerator. Mission accomplished, more or less.

This cookbook has the pedigree of a mutt. Wherever possible, we have attempted to attribute recipes to their original sources. Some of the recipes here are found in the hardcopy Faber Family Cookbook, which is Sandi Faber's labor of love to pass down generations of recipes. The second edition of that cookbook was dedicated to Lindsay Faber and Jon Mallin for their marriage. Other recipes were provided by Jon Mallin's mother Nina. Quite a few recipes are simply items we have attempted from various online recipe sources.
